Clayton County Isn't Just Where Zoe Is.
It's Who We're Built For.
Our community includes students, families, local partners, Clayton County. We can only succeed together.
Respect.
Responsibility.
Readiness.
At Zoe Preparatory Academy, we hold ourselves to a community promise: We show up and support families to do the same.
Come ready to learn. Ask questions. Try new things. Support your classmates. Take ownership of your progress. Be the driver of your own LIFE Plan.
Stay in communication with your child's teacher. Attend conferences. Respond to outreach. Help us understand what your child needs to thrive. We cannot do this work without you.
Know your students. Build relationships first. Teach with empathy, rigor, and cultural responsiveness. Model what we expect. Create environments where every student belongs.
The 3 Rs We All Follow: Respect (for ourselves and others), Responsibility (for actions and learning), Readiness (to show up and do the work). These aren't just rules. They're the foundation for every interaction at Zoe.
Every Week, Our Community Walks Through the Door.
We don't just talk about community. We open our doors and invite Clayton County inside.
Thursdays • 5–6 PM
Open parent workshops on reading help, homework support, and navigating school systems. Coffee. Childcare. No appointment needed.
Last Friday of Every Month
Students present projects, performances, and portfolios. Families, neighbors, and local leaders invited. Recognition. Celebration. Pride.
Every Monday • During School Hours
Local professionals, college students, and Clayton County community members mentor students in reading, career exploration, and life skills.
We Don't Build in Isolation.
We Build With Partners Who Know This Work.
Zoe has intentional alliances — universities, nonprofits, and community organizations that share our values and strengthen our capacity to serve students.
Connects us to local businesses for mentorships, internships, and career pathways. Students get real-world exposure to Clayton's economy.
Provides teacher training, literacy coaching, and access to research-backed instructional practices.
Supports summer reading programs, provides books, and helps families build home libraries.
Partner with us on after-school programs, holiday support, and weekend enrichment activities.
Every Month, Our Community Walks Through the Door.
Every month, a community volunteer leads a hands-on learning experience for our students. A plumber, a painter, a physician, a poet, an entrepreneur. Because children learn from the world around them, and that world has more to teach than any one teacher could alone. Every Explorer brings more LIFE into our building.

We Want to Hear From You
This School Belongs to Clayton County. Let's Build It Together.
Zoe Preparatory Academy was not conceived in a boardroom. It grew out of three decades of working alongside families and students who deserved more. As we prepare to open, we are asking one question: What does your child need that they have not gotten yet? Your answer helps us build a school full of LIFE.
Explorer Volunteers lead weekly hands-on learning experiences for our students.
No teaching degree required. Just expertise and a willingness to share it.
Every Explorer brings more LIFE into our building.
We're Proud of Our Roots.
This Community Chose Resilience Over Exit.
Clayton County's story is one of persistence, diversity, and community strength. Families here deserve schools that reflect that same resilience — and Zoe is being built to do exactly that. We believe in this place. We believe in these families. And we're building a school that reflects that belief back to them.
Did You Know? Clayton County is one of Georgia's most diverse counties. Our students come from over 100 countries and speak more than 60 languages. That diversity isn't a challenge — it's our greatest strength. At Zoe, every language, every culture, and every story matters.
